Cainiao's Overseas Warehouses Fuel 3D Printer Growth with Tailored Services
Cainiao's data shows that since December 2024, 3D printer shipments from its overseas warehouses have surged by over 200% year-on-year, with the US market seeing notable growth. To support the global expansion of Chinese 3D printer companies, Cainiao has rolled out a specialized logistics solution for 3D printers. The service, which covers first-mile, warehousing, and last-mile, offers customized and competitively priced full-chain logistics. Three of the "big four" consumer-grade 3D printer brands—Creality, Bambu Lab, Anycubic, and Elegoo—have already partnered with Cainiao to utilize this service.
STO International Certified as a Warehouse Partner for TEMU US
STO International was officially certified as a warehouse partner for TEMU's US operations. Founded in 2013, STO International specializes in cross-border logistics for global e-commerce. It was the first domestic courier to operate chartered flights from China to Europe in 2016 and expanded into overseas warehousing in 2018. The company partners with major platforms like Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, and Wish, and operates over 40 bonded and overseas warehouses globally, covering 150,000 square meters.
ZS Robotics to Expand Global Reach with Series A Funding
ZS Robotics, a leader in warehouse automation, has secured tens of millions of yuan in Series A funding to accelerate product development and global expansion. Specializing in four-way shuttle robots, ZS serves industries such as fashion, food, cold chain, and pharmaceuticals. The company plans to launch ZS Academy in 2025 to support global partners and establish parts centers in key markets. Overseas demand now accounts for a third of ZS's orders, with projects underway in Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Argentina. In 2024, the company saw nearly 300% year-on-year growth in orders.
YDH Lists on NEEQ
YDH officially listed on China's New Third Board (also known as NEEQ, a financing platform for small and medium-sized enterprises) on January 10. In 2023, it reported revenues of RMB 2.9 billion (USD 395.56 million) and a net profit of RMB 63.3 million (USD 8.63 million). For Q1 2024, revenue reached RMB 1.35 billion (USD 184.14 million) with a net profit of RMB 27 million (USD 3.68 million).
Founded in 2005, YDH has expanded globally with a full range of logistics services, including collection, export/import customs, international transport, and overseas warehousing, and partners with platforms like TEMU, TikTok Shop, SHEIN, and Wish. Its top three clients in Q1 2024 were Pinduoduo, TikTok, and EBTON Technology.
OOCL Posts 55% Revenue Jump in Q4 2024
Hong Kong-based Orient Overseas Container Line Limited (OOCL) reported a 55% increase in Q4 2024 revenue, surpassing USD 2.5 billion. The company handled 2 million TEUs, up 6% year-on-year. For the full year, OOCL's revenue exceeded USD 9.8 billion, a 30% increase, with total volume rising 3.5% to over 7.5 million TEUs. Meanwhile, COSCO's subsidiary also saw a 46% surge in average revenue per TEU in Q4.
EDA Group Becomes Official Warehouse Partner for TikTok Shop
EDA Group Holdings has officially partnered with TikTok Shop as its warehouse provider. The integration enables seamless order synchronization and full logistics tracking for merchants, streamlining order and shipping management while boosting product repurchase rates. EDA Group, the first Chinese overseas warehouse company to go public, leads the industry in the number of overseas facilities. The company operates over 60 warehouses across key markets, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Germany, and Australia, covering more than 800,000 square meters.
Ezhou Huahu Airport Unveils New Cargo Routes to Europe, Asia, and America
Ezhou Huahu International Airport has launched five new international cargo routes to Paris (France), Mexico City (Mexico), Clark (Philippines), Maastricht (Netherlands), and Tbilisi (Georgia), enhancing connections between Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The routes primarily carry cross-border e-commerce goods, along with some general cargo. The airport has also increased the frequency of routes to Belgium, Germany, and Hungary, solidifying its position as a key air freight hub in central China. Huahu Airport now operates over 120 international cargo flights weekly, with daily connections to Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Temu Partners with Ukrposhta to Enhance E-Commerce Logistics in Ukraine
Temu has partnered with Ukrposhta to enhance Ukraine's e-commerce logistics, building on a successful pilot project. During the trial, Ukrposhta delivered over 1.5 million Temu packages, with more than 80% reaching customers within three days.

Recent rumors of Cainiao splitting up have been debunked by sources at Alibaba and Cainiao. The company clarified that recent internal adjustments aim to strengthen collaboration with Alibaba's e-commerce teams, without altering its core operations. Cainiao will continue to focus on global express delivery, supply chain solutions, and logistics technology, while investing in cross-border logistics and local delivery services. A rebranding of its global English name is also planned to support its international expansion.
Loctek's Lecangs Partners with TikTok Shop
Lecangs, Loctek's overseas warehousing arm, has officially partnered with TikTok Shop, enabling U.S.-based cross-border sellers to leverage Lecangs for inventory management and order fulfillment. The integration allows sellers to authorize automatic updates for smooth operations.
In its 2024 earnings forecast, Loctek projects net profits of RMB 300 million to 340 million (USD 40.92~46.38 million), with a strategic shift toward expanding its overseas warehouse business. In December 2023, Loctek approved a RMB 700 million (USD 95.48 million) investment to develop the Apple Valley Overseas Warehouse in California, part of a broader plan to build 1.5 million square meters of warehouse space near U.S. ports.
COSCO SHIPPING Forecasts Double-Digit Profit Growth in 2024
COSCO SHIPPING has projected a 90.67% year-on-year increase in operating profit (EBIT) for 2024, reaching approximately RMB 69.93 billion (USD 9.54 billion). Its net profit, excluding non-recurring items, is expected to rise 106.25% to RMB 48.99 billion (USD 6.68 billion). The company attributed the growth to moderate volume increases in the container shipping market, bolstered by the Red Sea crisis, which limited vessel capacity and kept prices elevated.
