On December 30, Air China Cargo debuted on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company raised RMB 3.495 billion (USD 478.81 million), marking the year's largest IPO. By noon, the stock climbed to RMB 10.17 (USD 1.39), up 342.17%, giving the company a market value of RMB 122.149 billion (USD 16.73 billion).
From 2021 to mid-2024, the company reported revenues of RMB 24.3 billion (USD 3.33 billion), RMB 23.1 billion (USD 3.16 billion), RMB 14.9 billion (USD 2.04 billion), and RMB 8.97 billion (USD 1.23 billion), with net profits of RMB 4.35 billion (USD 595.95 million), RMB 3.11 billion (USD 426.07 million), RMB 1.16 billion (USD 158.92 million), and RMB 666 million (USD 91.24 million), respectively.
Cainiao Expands U.S. Presence with its Sixth Warehouse in L.A.
Cainiao's overseas warehouse shipments have jumped 60% YoY this Christmas season, with 3D printers seeing sales more than double. To support cross-border sellers, Cainiao has opened its sixth warehouse on the U.S. West Coast, located in Los Angeles, offering B2C, B2B, and tailored supply chain solutions. The West Coast, with Los Angeles as a key hub, remains a key U.S. entry point for Chinese goods. With the holiday season in full swing, popular items like 3C electronics and home appliances are well-stocked, with deliveries averaging 2-3 days.
OOCL Unveils New FCS3 Service to Boost Trade Connectivity
Orient Overseas Container Line Limited (OOCL) has launched its new Far East-Chennai Service 3 (FCS3), improving connectivity between South China, Southeast Asia, and Chennai (India). The service will offer direct sailings between key ports in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and East India, providing a reliable shipping option to meet growing trade demand. The FCS3 port rotation includes Nansha (China), Shekou (China), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Laem Chabang (Thailand), Port Klang (Malaysia), Chennai (India), Port Kelang (Malaysia) and Nansha (China).
GoodCang Hits 2 Million Square Meters in Global Warehouse Space
On December 31, GoodCang, Zongteng Group's overseas warehouse, announced it surpassed 2 million square meters in global warehouse space, reaching its "Second Million Goal" ahead of schedule. As of year-end, its North American warehouses topped 1.3 million square meters, European facilities exceeded 700,000 square meters, and the Asia-Pacific region and domestic transit hubs accounted for 150,000 square meters. GoodCang's total global warehouse area is now nearing 2.2 million square meters.

Cainiao has seen a sharp rise in holiday package deliveries across the U.S. and Mexico, with daily volumes tripling. Leveraging over 10 years of experience, its expanding network now supports next-day delivery in key regions. To meet demand, Cainiao has invested in additional sorting capacity.
Since launching in 2024, Cainiao's U.S. network covers 90% of California and Florida, with hubs in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, and JFK. It now offers next-day and two-day delivery in these states. Cainiao's Mexican network spans 18 states, with growing daily volumes. Its new distribution center near Mexico City enhances its ability to offer a 2.5-day priority service, surpassing local standards.
Temu Partners with UPS to Offer Direct Shipping to EU
Temu has launched a new partnership with UPS, enabling direct shipping from Germany to EU countries, including France, Italy, and Spain. The move promises more affordable and efficient logistics services, with no limits on parcel pickup volumes, allowing even single items to be picked up directly from customers.
China Southern Air Logistics' CZ Speed Service Now Covers Entire U.S.
On December 27, China Southern Air Logistics (CZ Speed) expanded its international delivery service to cover the entire U.S., offering efficient options. Its Express service guarantees 4-6 day delivery, while the Fast Line ensures 6-8 days. "CZ Speed," launched by China Southern Air Logistics, leverages its domestic expertise to offer global transportation. The service features preferential cargo space approval, late departure flexibility, fast pickups, and access to a new online platform.
COSCO SHIPPING to Launch Direct Route from South America to China
COSCO SHIPPING South-China will launch a direct shipping route from Peru's Port of Chancay to Shenzhen and other South China regions in January 2025. The new route takes advantage of Chancay's deep-water harbor to optimize transport efficiency, reduce transit times, and increase capacity. Covering key South American markets like Mexico, Peru, and Chile, the route is set to enhance the logistics corridor between South China and Peru, providing more efficient export options for enterprises in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Cainiao Expands Premium Service to the UK and Germany
Cainiao International has launched a premium service to speed up overseas delivery, cutting delivery times by up to a day. By optimizing pickup, sorting, and transit, the service shortens delivery by at least 12 hours. Initially available in the U.S., France, and Spain, it offers a 10-day delivery from China to the consumer. The service has since expanded to the UK and Germany, with more markets to follow.
Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport Expands Global Reach with New Route to Japan
A freighter from Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport recently took off for Osaka, Japan, marking the airport's third international freighter route in 2024, following launches to Vietnam's Hanoi and South Korea's Incheon. Operated by Tianjin Air Cargo and organized by China Logistics International Express, the route will offer 5-7 weekly flights, primarily for cross-border e-commerce shipments.
