Jiaxing Nanhu Airport in Zhejiang is set to open by year-end, with test flights in July. Designed as a dual-use military and civilian airport, it will serve as the Yangtze River Delta's first dedicated air cargo hub, modeled after Memphis International Airport. Backed by YTO Express, it aims to handle 4 million passengers and 1.23 million tons of cargo annually by 2035. Once operational, it will be China's second major air cargo hub after Ezhou Huahu Airport. Construction is nearly complete, with some facilities already delivered for use.

JD Logistics and Chery Automobile have launched one of the Middle East's largest auto parts hubs, streamlining spare parts distribution across the region. JD Logistics designed and operates the facility, providing end-to-end supply chain services, from customs clearance to order fulfillment. Serving the Middle East and North Africa, the hub can process orders in as little as 2 to 4 hours, significantly cutting delivery times.

Shenzhen Airport kicked off 2025 with strong growth, handling 165,400 tons of cargo and mail in January, up 10.66% year-over-year. International freight surged 25.08% to 79,100 tons, while domestic volumes held steady at 80,600 tons (up 0.62%). The airport also saw a 5.46% increase in flights, reaching 39,000.
